What'll You Need

  • 1 lime
  • 2 tablespoons granulated or turbinado sugar
  • 2 ounces cachaça rum

Directions

1. Cut the lime into 6-8 thin slices and place the slices in a cocktail glass.

2. Mix in the sugar and crush the lime/sugar mixture with a muddler. Do not over muddle, you will break down the white pith which is bitter and will ruin the drink.

3. Add the cachaça rum, and stir. Add the ice, stir again, and serve.
