Ingredients
- 1 cup (8 ounces) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- ¼ cup high quality strawberry preserves
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar, sifted
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon lemon zest
Instructions
1 .With a stand or hand mixer, whip the butter for one minute, until smooth and creamy.
2. Mix in the jam and lemon juice. Add the powdered sugar and salt, mixing well. Stir in the lemon zest.
Strawberry butter stays fresh for one week in the refrigerator, or 2 months in the freezer.
