Ingredients
- 2 ounces bourbon whiskey (he preferred Longbranch)
- 1 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 ounce simple syrup
- egg white from 1 fresh egg (or use 1 tablespoon aquafaba, which is chickpea juice, for a vegan substitute)
Instructions
1. Combine all ingredients in cocktail shaker, and dry shake for a few seconds.
2. Add ice to the shaker and shake for 20-30 seconds.
3. Strain into a chilled coupe glass, or pour over ice into your favorite cocktail glass.
4. Garnish with a maraschino cherry for a nice 70’s cocktail party vibe.

Tip: Find coupe glasses at thrift stores. Those featured above were 15 cents a piece!
