Dad’s Best Whiskey Sour

My dad’s best whiskey sour recipe is a classic whiskey cocktail recipe made with bourbon whiskey, lemon juice, simple syrup and an egg white.

An iconic cocktail of the 70s, my dad perfected the best whiskey sour recipe. Bold, smooth bourbon whiskey (bourbon is a type of whiskey, for those who don’t know) meets the bright tang of fresh lemon and silky simple syrup to create a flawlessly perfect balance.

Add fresh egg whites—or my favorite vegan substitute, aquafaba (chickpea juice)—and shake to a frothy chill. Whether you’re serving guests or having a relaxing evening at home, my dad’s best whiskey sour recipe won’t disappoint! It’s a timeless, nuanced, and effortlessly satisfying classic that alway hits the spot.
